I have a slight obsession with ankle boots. In particular, those from H&M. There are a few a reasons I love H&M footwear. They consistently have new designs for sale that are fashionable while still being so easy to wear and suited to multiple outfits. I've been buying boots from H&M for years. I had a much beloved pair of flat black chelsea boots that saw me all the way through college and beyond. I wore those boots nearly every day and they were falling apart when I finally said goodbye. These faux-leather and faux-suede boots are reasonably priced at £24.99, great quality I think they'll last very well. But the biggest reason for me, is that H&M do half sizes. A 7.5! I can never get hold of a 7.5! These boots fit me perfectly.
With my much loved college boots in mind, I bought the camel faux-suede chelsea boots back in September. I wanted a pair of tan boots with a chunky heel that I could walk in all day. They're so comfortable I forget about the 2.5" extra height boost. When I spotted them online in black leather last week I had to add them to my basket. (20% off in the Black Friday sale too).
I wear them to work as my 'professional-yet-comfortable' footwear. I tend to shoot without shoes on at all but for viewings, meetings and general day-to-day I've been getting a lot of wear out of them. After a busy afternoon the studio was looking a bit messy but after a quick re-arrange, I thought it was the perfect backdrop for shooting pictures of these newbies. (fyi; this post was not sponsored by H&M, I just genuinely wanted to rave about their boots!)
