On the 24th of September JD Sports teamed up with the Victoria Warehouse to host The Brit Sound Project, with performances from Primal Scream, Reverend & the Makers, and a DJ set by the Foals, to name a few. They kindly invited me and Josh down with two VIP tickets and having not seen live music for a long time I was pretty excited! The Brit Project is about bringing the best of British music to Manchester when icons of the indie and rock scene come together as part of a ground-breaking music event.
This was our first trip to Victoria Warehouse, a converted warehouse standing next to Old Trafford stadium. And it's such an amazing venue. The building has already hosted some of the biggest bands around and is now home to The British Sound Project. There were quite a few bands we didn't know but it's always good to pick up new music. The view from the VIP stands was pretty amazing, I've never seen a gig in that way before, we're usually on the floor in the midst of everyone, getting sweaty and covered in beer. What a wonderful change for a Saturday night out, thank you JD!
