Getting Back On The Mat - Yoga for Beginners

A few months ago I started taking yoga a little more seriously and making the effort to practice everyday. My favourite online yogi, Adriene (Yoga with Adriene) has a series '30 days of Yoga' on her YouTube channel which is completely free and offers a different yoga 'workout' every day for a month! It's great for both beginners and those who are more advanced. I learnt lots about yoga by doing the challenge and felt improvement in my flexibility and posture after just a few videos in.

Then I left the country for 11 days and went on a wonderful relaxing holiday where the WiFi signal wasn't strong enough to upload an Instagram photo never mind stream a YouTube video. My plan of continuing my yoga practice wherever I am failed. And since I've been home I haven't stepped on my yoga mat. Time to roll out and dust off the mat! With the help of Pink Soda Sport who have provided me with a brand new yoga outfit, there's nothing like new sportswear to encourage me to exercise!

I have quite a few items from Pink Soda Sport in my collection now and I can say how happy I am with the quality and bold style of their sportswear for such affordable prices. Everything is comfortable and breathable. This is the perfect yoga outfit. It's incredibly stretchy, great for all those twisty bendy positions. I usually start my yoga workout feeling cool or almost chilly and half way through I'm boiling hot! So having this 2 in 1 top & sports bra means I can quickly alter my outfit between poses.

...mentally preparing for Crow Pose. I'm determined I will master Crow Pose before the end of this year!

  1. i love your new yoga outfit! definitely need to check out Adriene too as i really want to get into yoga properly

    1. She makes it really simple and there's no pressure to do poses in a certain way, you just go with what you can do! x
