What's in my Bag | 2015

When this beautiful slouchy shoulder bag came into my life I knew immediately it was time for another 'what's in my bag' type post. And it has been over a year since my last one. So today I'm spilling the contents of my handbag on to the floor and photographing them for you to nosy at! But lets start with the actual bag, which is much more interesting...

Yoshi are a brand I've blogged about before. I discovered their mini leather satchels and since then I've been a big fan of their bags and purses. I was over the moon when they contacted me and asked if I'd like to review a bag from their new collection and after much deliberation I went for the Wilmott leather slouch shoulder bag in the colour mushroom. It's definitely a 'me' bag. Something I would choose over and over again. It's big and roomy enough to carry everything I could possibly need, and the slouchy design and butter soft leather make me very happy. It has a structured base with round metal feet which means it will last longer and keep it's shape better than bags without a proper bottom.

The colour mushroom was a little warmer than I was expecting. Looking back now the website photos are actually very true to colour, but I think I was imagining a cool-grey. I actually prefer that it has some warmth to it. It's very Autumn/Winter appropriate and goes with everything (black and brown).

The Yoshi Wilmott bag has a magnetic fastening, an adjustable shoulder strap, an inside zipped pocket and two open pockets, one of them being a mobile pocket perfect for even a large iPhone 6 Plus. I'm trying very hard to keep it organised and not full of junk. I tend to carry around everything but the kitchen sink in my handbag but this time I'm being sensible. Only taking the necessary items and a few 'just-in-case' things like plasters, pain killers and a invisibobble.

I carry my purse, keys and phone of course. My iPad mini is such a lovely size, you can read more about it in my updated iPad mini post. I like to have a paper diary with me in case I need to jot down info when out. I use my phone's calendar for appointments but this slim bird print diary has loads of useful information on the pages in the front and room for making notes. My fluffy pom pom keyring is from ASOS. I'm using a small makeup bag to carry the essentials and recently I've been switching between two lipsticks for everyday; mac hue and brave.

Don't forget to leave a link in the comments to your 'what's in my bag' blog posts or videos, as I'm always keen to nosy at what other people keep in their bags...

  4. My shoulders are too tiny and round for shoulder bags to ever stay in place, but this post led me to your post about the satchels and now I've got those bookmarked for when I need a new bag! I'd do a "what's in my bag" post but it's about 50% old receipts at the moment...eek!
