The 'Lily' (or the RB4222) are a new edition of Ray-Ban round sunglasses with rubberized frames and skinny metal arms. They come in seven different frame and lens colour varieties, I have the Dark Havana with brown gradient lenses and I love them! These were kindly sent to me from Sunglasses Shop who stock five of the Lily frames, funky colours included - starting at £85 with free next day delivery. Here's what they have to say about the new collection...
"Ray-Ban Lily pushes must-wear round sunglasses to the next level with iridescent rubber, sleek multi-layered lenses and slick metal temples. Lily is oversized turning the tricky round into a universal flatterer not to mention an ultra contemporary take on retro."
I've always been a fan of how round sunglasses look on other people but I never imagined I'd be able to pull them off. If anything I thought they'd make my face look rounder. But I think these Ray-Ban Lily frames are the perfect size! Not so oversized I look like a frightened owl, whilst not being too 'John Lennon' teeny either. I tend to choose brown or tortoise shell frames with being so pale, I think dark black frames can look too heavy and stark on me.
The Lily's are so light and comfortable, as I find with all Ray-Ban sunglasses. Now the weather is slightly improving and we head towards sunnier days I'm enjoying wearing these new round ones and swapping them for my much loved aviators when I fancy a change.
