Hairstyle for Short Hair | How To Fake an Undercut

If you have short hair it can be tricky to come up with new ways to style it. This 'fake undercut' is really simple but completely transforms your style. I've seen this done with tiny rows of french plaits which looks great but these messy twists are much easier. My version is softer, less of a harsh buzz-cut. It's also a non-permanent way to spice up your hairstyle and follow the undercut trend. Simply part your hair far over on one side. Take a small section at the front near your temples and split this into three. Twist back each section and secure with a grip. This works with both curly, straight or wavy hair. I used a large tong to curl the ends slightly so my hair didn't lie too flat.

I like doing this for a night out - and of course, you can choose to pull back your hair on your best side!
