Three Easy Festival Outfits

Festival season is upon us. As I write the Glastonbury crowds are heading home and preparing for the next couple of months of festival madness. I missed out on Glastonbury this year but it's not stopped me from putting together a festival-fashion lookbook. Here are three outfits that are easy to style and easy to pack...

Tiger Face Cropped Tee* - Xirl
Palm Tree Skort* - Missguided
Bowler Hat - H&M / similar

This illustrated tiger tee from Xirl makes quite an impact and I normally would pair it with something plain but you can get away with mixing prints at a festival so I've gone for this Missguided palm tree skort (looks like a skirt, practicality of shorts.) Readers of my blog can claim 20% off your orders with the discount code 'thisfashionismine' at Xirl! A black bowler hat makes a change from all the trilbies you'll see bobbing about and trainers are a must for when you'll be on your feet all day.

Cropped Yellow Top* - Missguided
Maxi Flower Print Skirt* - Missguided
Basket Weave Sandals - Topshop

A floor length skirt at a festival can be risky. But it depends on the type of festival you'll be attending. This Missguided one splits up the sides both ways making it really easy to walk in. If things get a bit muddy you can always knot it up at the bottom! I love this 90s style cropped tee with sheer panel cut-out.

Flower Print Oversized Shirt* - Missguided
Harness Strap Bra - DIY
Black Cropped Vest - H&M
Denim Shorts - Levi's
Straw Trilby - ASOS

You're classic festival gear, denim shorts and a straw trilby - updated with a loose fitting shirt and my DIY harness bra. This oversized shirt is so lightweight it will take up no space at all in your backpack and keep the harsh sun off your shoulders.

Which is your favourite look? Let me know what you'll be packing in your festival bag this year and have a browse at my photo diary from Glastonbury 2013 for more inspiration and to see what I was wearing...
