Mint & Lilac Pastel Nails

Ciate Nail Polishes in 'Sugar Plum' and 'Pepperminty'
OPI Nail Envy as a top coat

Sometimes I need a pick me up when the 'summer' weather is dreary and wet. I don't spend as long on my nails as I used to, last year I was really into nail art and now I usually just throw any quick drying colour on. But today was a stay-at-home sort of day so I went ahead and created these half and half pastel nails. I used the mini polishes that came in my Ciate Advent Calendar, I knew these pastel shades would come in handy in the spring/summer. I started with an all over lilac base (two coats) and then carefully painted half of each nail with mint green. It's a very simple design, I think it will look perfect with an all-white outfit.
