Mother/Daughter Style with Hush

I was recently introduced to the fashion clothing line hush and their beautifully simplistic clothes. I can't believe I haven't stumbled across this website before, it's like someones looked into my wardrobe and produced a whole range of items just for me! In the spirit of Mother's Day (30th March) hush have asked me to pop together a few wish-list outfits for mums and daughters so I accepted their style challenge!

These outfits are quite interchangeable, suitable for all ages as are most things on the hush website. I like the looser fit of the stripey dress with neon flats and I know Mum is a fan of stripes too. She'd probably go for jeans for a weekend casual outfit whereas in the Spring/Summer I like to pack away my jeans as much as possible.

Black and greys. Much more my thing than my Mums. She prefers to wear colour and lots of it whereas I can't seem to get out of the grey/black/white rut. I know she'd be a fan of this oversized tunic worn with a layered 3 quarter sleeve underneath. And on the right we have the paired down version. Really easy to wear styles and I'd wear either! It's always good to get a balance between tight fitting and loose fitting items. So if you've got a simple pair of leggings it's nice to choose a oversized tee or sweatshirt.

And then for a day time relaxed pairing in the spring I know we'd both choose a jumper and balance it out with sandals as not to be too warm! I'm looking forward to wearing maxi skirts and dresses again I'd almost forgotten they existed. I really love everything on hush and the clothes are photographed as complete outfits so you can have a good idea of whether things will fit into your wardrobe and how to style the items you purchase. Of course you can view everything separately too.

Have you heard of hush before? I now have a wish list the length of my arm so I can see myself popping back here every now and again. Price wise it's similar to GAP so some items are very reasonable others are a little pricey. But if you're looking for a Mother's Day gift that goes beyond the usual chocolates and flowers you might find yourself choosing an outfit above - after all, you can always wear it too!
