What Do I Actually Do At University?

I tend not to mix my fashion/style blog with the other side of my life too often. Mainly because I'm not sure anyone's interested. But occasionally people ask me what do I get up to at Uni and what is my course like.
If you weren't aware I'm studying for a BA Hons degree in Photography at Salford University. I'm now into my 3rd and final year and as of today I've completed my first module of this year. (The semester started in September.)

For those who'd like to see what I get up to when I'm not blogging, have a look at my latest piece. It's a short film (2 minutes) highlighting the relationship we have with technology. I wanted to explore the notion that we are fixed to our digital screens, unable to disconnect from a virtual world. The video is a little humourous (or maybe only to me!) and exaggerated and features two of my good friends who kindly acted out scenes for me in their apartment.

I'd love to hear your feedback and if you'd be interested in seeing more of my course work or photography work in general please tell me! Or tell me to go away and come back when I have some clothes to talk about. As you can see the photography course I'm on in-cooperates some moving image elements. Although the majority of the modules focus on still photographic image we have had the opportunity to film too and it's an experience I'm really enjoying.
