So the Autumn months are now truly upon us. This morning it was chilly enough for a hat and scarf! With the new season comes new clothes, new events and nights out. I've been pondering over the latest trends and finding my favourites. These French Connection examples come courtesy of K&Co where you can actually pay for a designer dress over 12 months meaning these FC ones start for as little as 73p a week!

My top picks include this leather pleated dress. Pleats have been making a comeback for a few years now and last year we saw the hype over the leather pleated mini skirt. It's a trend that's not going anywhere. Throw in a little tartan jacket and ankle boots for a touch of punk vibe. Midi lengths are also set. This makes me happy because sometimes a mini can be just a tad too short on me. At 16 I couldn't have cared less but now I'm 21 I feel having my bum cheeks on show is just going a bit far and doesn't look very classy. Midi length dresses and skirts make me feel a bit too grown up. I wish someone would invent a length in-between the mini and midi for all us 20 somethings.
The shops are stock full of full skirts! I'm yet to jump on the bandwagon but I'm intrigued by the designs. Especially paired with a tighter fitting top half such as the dress above. For day time I'm loving the whole converse and full skirt look with a cropped jumper.
