When Life Gets in the Way

Well hello blog readers, it's been a while! I last posted over a week ago and it feels very strange to not be posting content 3-4 times a week as I try to do. I've taken a little break and also had to slow down as I am now a full time worker! I've landed an amazing job as a photographer in Manchester working in studio where we take fun family portraits, glamorous makeovers and tasteful boudoir photos of a variety of people. I've decided not to include the name of my work place in this blog post but if you're interested or maybe even fancy booking a photo shoot with me drop me an email and I'll give you more details.

It's really rewarding to be doing a 'proper' photography job now - something I was crossing my fingers for at the end of my degree has come a year early. I will be returning to Uni to finish my last year in September but hopefully I'll be able to stay on part time all going well.

This of course means my regular blog posting will suffer and I won't have the time to post quite as frequently but This Fashion is Mine will continue even if it means giving you guys less to read overall. Content will stay the same and I aim to still produce quality blog posts on interesting fashion-related topics. I also have a fun festival-fashion themed DIY post in the pipelines. I hope you guys will stick with me during this slow period and understand I never have been a full time blogger but now even less so!

In other news I've been watching little Malley grow up fast - he's now 12 weeks old and still very much a kitten but growing every day. Lots of friends and my boyfriend have been turning 21 so I've been enjoying the celebrations including a sunny trip to York (see instagram) and going to see Hangover Part 3 at a drive-in movie theater. Pop back tomorrow to see more of these pictures as I've got an outfit post planned!
