Street Style Sneakers

Black Loose Vest - H&M
Cardigan - Primark
Leggings - eBay
Nike Air Safari* - Urban Outfitters
Sunglasses - H&M
Coin Necklace - DIY

As you may already have spotted I am a big fan of the street style 'wearing your running trainers' trend. The best way to pull it off is with an all black outfit. This keeps things simple and classic whilst drawing attention to your trainers in a 'I'm wearing these on purpose' kinda way. Looking a bit like you're on your way to the gym is not a really bad thing and sports luxe is in, right?

These Nike Air Safari Black and Cool Grey Trainers are courtesy of Urban Outfitters. I love that the black and grey is mixed with subtle animal print and a pop of neon pink. I tried to find a nail polish to match and used Tutti Fruity by Collection 2000. I find Urban Outfitters stock a great selection of classic/retro/fashion trainers and with student discount and free delivery over £50 you can guarantee you'll save a few pennies. These Nike Air Safaris are actually found in the Men's department but as I have pretty large feet (size 8) I managed to get hold of a pair to fit me. Check out the ladies trainer section for Nike Air Max and Nike Pre Montreals.

The huge benefit of wearing trainers mixed in with your daily fashion wardrobe is that you're feet are in a constant state of comfort and running for the tram/tube/train is so much easier. I'm considering putting together a 'ways to wear' post featuring running trainers for some examples on how I like to style them if that would be useful to anyone?

Before you go - lucky readers of This Fashion is Mine, help yourselves to a discount code for Urban Outfitters, enter MINE20 to get a lovely 20% off your order until the 15th June! Urban Outfitter's are also giving away festival tickets for this Summer so if you fancy you're chances enter now it only takes a minute.
