GlossyBox September

It's that time of the month again - beauty box time! Today I'm giving the September Glossybox a quick look over. What's in it this time and is it still worth subscribing too? Personally, I'm in two minds about the box. I love the special edition illustrated box by Maggie Li, how beautiful is it! I'll be keeping this box for myself! And the products inside are a mixed bag. Lets have a look...

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream
An eye cream with a young fresh design. I was not immediately turned off this product believing it to be too old for me. Probably because of the packaging, so well done 'balance Me'. Although I don't use eye creams I gave this one a shot and actually quite liked it. It's very refreshing and makes the skin around my eyes feel very soft and looked after. Maybe save this one for the morning after a heavy night out.

Vitamin E Cream from The Body Shop
This is a best selling product and I know my sister has always liked the Vitamin E stuff from The Body Shop so I was very pleased to find this little cute pot in my box. I'm going to keep it in my travel makeup bag for whenever I need a dab of moisturiser. It soaks into the skin quickly too so this might make a good cuticle moisturiser.

Lady GaGa's FAME perfume sample
I thought I'd hate this. I was surprised I actually quite liked it! I probably wouldn't buy a whole bottle but this little sample will get used up. It's quite strong so a night-out kinda scent but it's not overpowering and thank god it's not floral. I don't think there is anything 'floral' about Lady GaGa this is a fruity, spicy, fresh and musky all at the same time. It's how I imagine her to smell. Maybe they just bottled her sweat?

Biosilk
I spent a good few minutes trying to figure out what this product actually is. I think it's a hair oil. GlossyBox tells me it's a leave in hair treatment. Whether you add it to wet hair or dry hair I have no idea! If anyone has bothered to do the research please let me know! It may be fantastic but if I'm honest I'm a little tired of seeing hair oils (or leave in treatments whatever) in GlossyBoxes. I haven't managed to get through the last six yet.

Radial samples
I find samples in these flat pockets hard to get to grips with. If you manage to open the packet successfully you've probably spilt the contents everywhere in the process. I'm not so excited about these but I'm not one to slate something before I've even tried it, so I will do just that and try them.

What did you get in your GlossyBox this month? I'm interested in hearing what you think about the perfume, is FAME something you'd buy at full size? I don't usually like any celebrity scents but this one I'm warming to.
