Saving Money Online - Fashion & Beauty

I think it's safe to say we all love saving a bit of money, especially when it comes to clothes and make up. I realised the other day how much of my monthly/weekly wage goes on fashion items therefore its so important for me to find bargains... But I wouldn't want to keep these things to myself so I've shared a list of my all time favourite websites that save me a bundle!

Ebay.co.uk

I'm not sure I can remember a time before ebay. A world without online auctions seems like a bewildering and miserable place. Mum first discovered its hidden treasures and swiftly became an ebay addict before passing along the addiction to me. Each week (if not every day) parcels of all shapes and sizes arrive at our house and 9 times out of 10 those parcels are ebay bargains!

Ebay is the perfect place to go when your looking for something very specific. You can search for items that have sold out in the high street or find designer inspired clothing and handbags for a fraction of the retail price.
I've purchased hair appliances, clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, fancy dress costumes, arts and craft supplies, sunglasses, watches, headphones, almost everything and anything the list is endless.

My most recent favourite ebay bargains have to be my Hermes inspired handbag for £10.60 and these leather look leggings. Ebay is also my first stopping point for anything creative and I purchase all of my DIY items such as studs or fabric dyes from this site. That's what makes it my number one money saving place to shop.

Voucher Codes.co.uk

I've recently downloaded the Voucher Codes app on to my iPhone and they have some brilliant deals every day. A recent fave was 40% of The Body Shop! You can just flash your phone displaying a code at the counter - no printing out of coupons - no fuss. They do also have an online presence of course where you can find even more deals on fashion or food.

UniDays.com

If you're a student but refuse to pay £11 for a NUS Extra card, you might find yourself in a pickle when it comes to getting student discount on the highstreet or even online. ASOS will only accept a NUS Extra number and Topshop the same. Other places such as New Look stores seem to be a little more flexible aslong as you have student ID which is dated. If you have neither of these things you can head to My Uni Days where you are presented with the latest deals from shops all over the highstreet. You can enter these shopping sites through Uni Days and by logging in using your University details (Athens) you can claim your student discount! My Uni Days also lets me know of special discounts or promotions available. It's a great one for students looking to save money.

PerfumeParlour.co.uk

Perfume Parlous sell roller ball oil scents that are spot-on dupes for the designer perfumes! I bought a few of these for myself and more for friends at Christmas time. As it turns out they smell just like the designer expensive perfumes. I can't tell the difference between my DKNY Be Delicious and my Perfume Parlour roller ball based on it. You can scroll down a huge list of popular designer perfumes and purchase your dupe accordingly. I bought my friend a dupe of Viktor and Rolf's Flowerbomb for Christmas and she loves it! It really does smell just like the real thing. Just minus the heavy price tag!
They are the perfect size to drop into your handbag too. The roller ball oils come in different sizes and there are also sprays available. They even do copies of designer Men's aftershave!
It's a great way to try out designer scents before purchasing the real deal and you might find you don't even need too! Such a great money saver!

Buyapowa.com

I love this website! Buyapowa bring new and interesting deals out every day which means you can buy high end beauty products, fashion items, electricals and everything else for a much cheaper price.
If you've never heard of buyapowa before, the main idea is that the more people that 'buy in' to a deal the lower the final price of the item! You only ever pay the lowest price and if the deal is a sell out that means a massive saving on your part! Buyapowa also reward people for spreading the word and telling others to get involved in a deal. If you can spread the word to enough people you might get that item for free!

I was unsure at first that buyapowa would even interest me but the items for sale are right up my street - they often do great deals on OPI polishes, MAC make up, the Clarisonic Mia and Moroccan Oil hair goodies.
Personally, I've bought the sought after Benefit They're Real Mascara from buyapowa and it arrived in the post within the same week. This can't be said for all their items, sometimes you might wait a while for your parcel to arrive - but they always keep you informed with regular emails and updates on your purchases.

BrandAlley.co.uk

Brand Alley bring you new sales on designer clothes, shoes and jewellery almost every day! I've previously bought myself some Hunter Wellies for under £30, three full size OPI nail polishes for £8.50 a MAC Mineralize Skinfinish for £15.50 and a Mineralize Blush for £15.50 too. These are items I might never have purchased at full price so its great to be able to have designer items at a much lower price.
There's a slight issue with delivery taking a while - Brand Alley always make it clear how long an item will take to arrive so bear this in mind before you buy!
They give you a £10 voucher for yourself and each person you get to sign up (sign up is free by the way) so if you'd like to start off your Brand Alley shopping with a free tenner just leave me your email address in the comments and I'll send you a link!

Fashionvouchers.com

This site is a bit of a new one to me, but Fashion Vouchers basically compile a big list of all the best deals and offers on online fashion retailers so you can save money! It's the best place to start your shopping especially if you know what you're after but not sure where you'll find the best deals. It means you don't have to visit all your favourite fashion web shops to see what offers they have on but instead can see a whole list neatly layed out on fashionvouchers.com!

Go shop, spend and save yourself a fortune!
